Tim Blaize, 69, of Tell City, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Princeton on May 22, 1956 to Earl and Lettie (Redfairn) Blaize. He grew up in Hazleton having lived in Tell City for the past 30 years and was a guard at the Branchville State Penitentiary. Tim was an avid golfer and loved sports. He was a fan of the Princeton Tigers, IU and St. Louis Cardinals. In earlier years, he loved coaching his children’s teams. A loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, Tim enjoyed life and living.
Tim is survived by his children, Keith Blaize (Mindy) of Patoka and Lisa Thompson (Andrew) of Francisco; grandchildren, Cullen Blaize and Maddie and Gabby Thompson; great grandchild, Darcy Thompson; sister, Phyllis Blaize; life partner of over 16 years, Gina Hinkle; mother of his children, Joan Williams (Roy); and a number of very close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, June 21st, 2025 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Chuck Briner officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Hazleton. Friends may visit from noon until the service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Colvin Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
