Tommie A. Basham III, 67, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at home. He was born on August 14, 1953 in Fort Leonard Wood, MO to Tommie A. Basham, Jr. and Shirley Joan (Hill) Basham. He had resided in Princeton the past 20 years after living in both Princeton and Florida. He was a security officer with Command Security. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the North American Hunting Club.
Tommie is survived by his mother, Shirley, of Madison; children, Jolene Brown of New Port Richey, FL and Tommie Basham IV of Princeton; grandchildren, Kortni Wade, Jaxson & Decklin Basham and Skyler Ahfield; and siblings, Rebecca Lenart of Wyoming, Daniel Basham of Princeton and Kimberly Myers of Madison.
He was preceded in death by his father and wife, Rose Marie Basham in 2012.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Burial will follow. Due to COVID-19 regulations, social distancing with masks is encouraged. There will be no public visitation. Colvin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
