Tracie Miskell Obituary

Tracie A. Miskell, 54, of Princeton, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at her home in Princeton. She was born December 6, 1965 in Princeton to the late Charles and Helen (Montgomery) Miskell and was a lifetime Princeton resident. She was a graduate of Princeton Community High School, class of 1985. Tracie formerly worked for GCARC and most recently the ARC of Gibson County. She was a very active member of Salvation Army Church in Princeton and was involved in the Women’s Ministry, Joy Club and the Youth Ministries. She was very involved in the Special Olympics and received many medals over the years and made lasting memories with many others involved in this program.

Tracie is survived by her son, Matt Miskell of Princeton; a grandson, William Jackson Miskell; sisters and brothers, Beatrice “Sissy” Walters of Princeton, LaSheila Miskell-Frederick (Monte) of Princeton, James “Doc” Miskell (Debbie) of Darmstadt, Charles “Rocky” Miskell of Princeton, Mike Miskell (Angela) of Patoka, Tony Miskell of Owensville, Steve Miskell (Star) of Princeton and Brian Miskell (Amanda) of Patoka; also, several nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Larry Miskell, Linda Myers and Mark Miskell; and a nephew, Brandon “Radar” Myers.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Major Chris Marques officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, November 6th at Colvin Funeral Home. Seating for the visitation and service will be limited due to state mandated COVID-19 regulations. Masks and social distancing are required.

Memorial contributions for Tracie may be given to Salvation Army Church, 202 S. Gibson St., Princeton, IN 47670; Special Olympics Gibson County, IN, 1504 Hawthorne Ct., Princeton, IN 47670 or Evansville Association for the Blind, 500 N. 2nd Ave., Evansville, IN 47710. Envelopes will also be available at Colvin’s.
