Vera L. Potts

Vera L. Potts, 104, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born March 13, 1920 in Pike County. Vera loved to cook and sew, especially crocheting and quilting. She owned and operated Vera’s upholstery for several years. Vera was a member of the Union Community Church and loved her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and husband, Emery.

Vera is survived by her daughters, Earlene Davis and Barbara Potts; grandchildren, Jeff White, Aaron Spencer, and David Spencer; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Easton officiating with burial to follow at the Hazleton Community Cemetery in Hazleton, IN.
