Verturia "Terri" R. (Erwin) Quiggins

Verturia “Terri” R. Quiggins, 90, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at Independence Village Greenwood in Greenwood, Indiana. She was born March 16, 1932 to the late Ray and Norma (Barnett) Erwin. She grew up in Winslow with Fort Branch being her final home. She retired from K-Mart after many years and attended Vertical Church in Fort Branch. She enjoyed going out with her friends after church on Sundays and Friday nights for a meal. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and had a heart for everyone. She was loved and will be missed.  

Verturia is survived by daughters, Beverly Sievers (Steve) of Birmingham, Alabama and Debbie Murphy (Michael) of Indianapolis; step-daughter, Brenda Buehler (Dave) of Jasper; grandchildren, Stacey Meador (Mark), Courtney Judd (Jeff), Justin Sievers (Amanda), and Michael Murphy (Amanda); step-grandchildren, Trisha Goodwin and Kelly Harshaw (Matt); great-grandchildren, Dalton Meador, Shelby Meador, Addison Judd, Caleb Sievers, and Owen Murphy; step-great-grandchildren; Casey Knepp, Trevor Miller, Ali Goodwin, Briar Goodwin, and Gabby Goodwin; step-great-great-grandchild, Hollis Goodwin; brothers, Tom Erwin and Bob Erwin; and half-sisters, Carol Rademacher and Faye Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years, James L. Quiggins; infant child, Tracy Kaye Quiggins; sister, Meris Julian; and step-brother, Michael Erwin.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Tom Harrigan. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown. A visitation will be held from 10 until 12 Noon Thursday at the funeral home.
