Vicki Lynn Chandler, 66, of Princeton went peacefully to be with Jesus with her mother by her side on March 1, 2025 after an 8-year courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 9, 1958 in Princeton, IN to parents, Larry B. Chandler and Shelby (Shoultz) Chandler. Vicki graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1975, then furthered her education with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from University of Evansville. Vicki worked at Hansens in the Sales department for 27 years. She attended church at Hope Community Church where she was a member of the Sisters in Christ bible study group and she attended Power Up bible study. Vicki also attended New Life Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed shopping for and planting flowers in her yard. Vicki liked antiquing at flea markets, where she was hopeful for a good find. She also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking up a delicious meal for her family. Vicki was a fan of Indiana Hoosier and Pacers basketball. Most importantly she loved to spend time with her family, which would include going to the nieces and nephews sporting events. Vicki will be remembered as a selfless person, who loved deep. She will be missed by many.
Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Larry B. Chandler.
She is survived by her mother, Shelby (Richard) Turner; siblings, Lana (Jeff) Tillie and Jeff Chandler; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Lindsay) Tillie, Nicholas Tillie, Laura Carmichael, Alexandria Chandler, Luke (Amanda) Chandler, Easton (Jordan) Clore, and Dane Chandler; great-nieces and nephews, Rhoades, Turner, Colton, Ella, Jett, Athena, Phoenix, Lexington, Uriah, Kaymin, Gatlin, and Warner.
A funeral service will be held, 3 PM Thursday, March 6, 2025 at New Life Church of the Nazarene in Princeton with Donnie Truelock officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus. Visitation will be held 1:00 until service time Thursday at the church.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Heart to Heart Hospice, Dr. Titzer, Dr. Miller and the OHA team for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the church.
