Walter V. Davis

Walter Vernon Davis, 82, of rural Princeton, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at his home. He was born December 26, 1940 in Evansville to the late Basil and Lonie Davis. He was a graduate of Mackey High School and had worked in the heating and air business and apartment maintenance. He loved working in his large garden and watching old western movies. He had resided in the community for the past 15 years coming back to this area after living in Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Hale) Davis; 3 sisters, Joyce Young of Princeton, Shirley Strickland of Mackey, Bettie Fritz of Princeton; a brother, Eddie Davis of Princeton; and also, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Gene, Jerry, Coleman and Melvin Davis.

At this time, there will be no visitation or service.
