Wanda Sue Fox

Wanda “Sue” Fox, age 91, of Princeton, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the home of her daughter in London, KY. She was born on February 22, 1932, in Breathitt County, KY, to Robert Lee Deaton and Sarah Turner Deaton.

Sue was a member of Tower Heights Church of God where she was also a Sunday school teacher. She loved all sports, but especially basketball. She really enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family & friends.

She is survived by her children, Salelia Kilburn (David) of London, KY and William “Dave” Fox (Idonna) of Somerville, IN; grandchildren: Andrea (Eric), Lori (Patrick) & Danny (Diana); seven great-grandchildren: Brooke, Shawni, Hailey, Kyla, Harper, Ellie & Claire as well as a host of family and friends.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Bill" Fox; one grandson, Michael Kilburn; a great-grandson, Lance David and fifteen siblings: Joseph Deaton, Cora Turner, James Deaton, Johnnie Deaton, Talbert Deaton, Jalie Deaton, Sammie Deaton, Bertha Notestine, Martha Raleigh, Bessie Sims, Luther Deaton, Callie Deaton, Levi Deaton, Millie Ruth Noble and Wilson Deaton.

Arrangements are being handled by Maggard's Mtn. View Chapel in Hazard, KY where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, November 13, 2023. Funeral service will be at Maggard's Mtn. View Chapel at 3:00 PM, Monday, November 13, 2023, Pastor Jack Gatson officiating.  A committal service will be held at the graveside, 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton, IN. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the service
