Wenonah Marie Keenan, 83, of Princeton, went Home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at IU Health in Indianapolis. She was born August 24, 1940 in Vandalia, Illinois to the late James and Bessie Williams. She moved to Indiana from Illinois in 1979 and worked as a kindergarten teacher. A member of The Oasis church, she enjoyed volunteering there working with the youth, the bus ministry, Bible quiz and helping with dinners.
Wenonah is survived by her husband, Joe Keenan of Princeton; daughter, Kathy Holdeman (Ralph) of Richmond; sons, Jeffrey Keenan (Bethany) of Haubstadt and Bradley Keenan (Lori) of Princeton; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and brother, James Williams (Sue) of Brownstown, IL.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, November 6, 2023 at The Oasis church in Princeton. The service will be officiated by her three children who are all Pastors; Kathy Holdeman, Jeffrey Keenan, and Bradley Keenan. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 10 am until the service hour on Monday at the church. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
