William “Bill” N. Hart, 89, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at The Waters in Princeton. He was born on April 15, 1930 to Norman and Vivian (McElderry) Hart. He had lived in Princeton all of his life, working for 40 years in setup at Potter & Brumfield and serving 20 years in the National Guard. He attended Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton. Bill was a life member of B.P.O. E. Lodge 634. He was also a member of the Prince Masonic Lodge #231, the Princeton Country Club and former member of the Optimist Club and Lions Club. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, playing the role of Santa Claus’s helper on many occasions, his grandchildren and following their activities.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hart of Princeton; son, John Hart (Mary Ann) of Evansville; daughter, Terri Mans of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Josh, Julie, Mike, Sara, Mary, and Megan; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Sean Hart; and brother, J. Robert Hart.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Curtis Bond officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th at the funeral home. Military Graveside Rites will be provided by the Retired Military Veterans.
