William "Bill" Kolb Obituary

William “Bill” L. Kolb, 84, of Patoka, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at his home in Patoka. He was born in Princeton July 9, 1938 to the late Lester and Margaret (Kessinger) Kolb and served in the United States Army Reserves. Bill was a lifelong farmer and a jokester at heart. He could laugh at anything. He was a never wavering loving father and a good and honest man. Bill was a constant source of strength and support for his family and he loved with his whole heart. He was a master of fixing and upcycling anything and nothing at the same time, but was especially known for his long conversations about the weather. He was loved beyond measure and will be missed dearly.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Kim Alvis (Mike) of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Kris Purcell (Bryan) of Humble, Texas, Megan Epler (Yale) of Patoka, and Miranda Andrews (Brad) of Mt. Carmel; son, Scott Kolb; grandchildren, Madelyn Luce (James), Abby Segrest (Grayson), Rachel Alvis, and James Epler; and great-granddaughter, Camryn Segrest.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
