William "Tom" Thomas Houghtaling

William Thomas “Tom” Houghtaling, 67, of Evansville, IN passed away April 20, 2023. He was born July 15, 1955 in Princeton, Indiana to the late Norman D “Tom” Houghtaling and Ina (LaMar) Houghtaling. Tom was in the 1973 graduating class of Princeton Community High School, where he played and excelled at sports. He attended West Georgia College on a sports scholarship. Tom was an avid reader and was known to get caught up in a good book.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; brother-in-law, Steven Graham; and nieces Michelle Goebel and Stephanie Wittmer.

Tom is survived by his siblings, Terry (Travis) Nolcox, Nancy (Mike) Backes, Arletta Jo Robinson, Carol (David) Taylor, Patsy Ricketts, and Sandra (David) Griesemer; nieces; nephews; and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. May 6, 2023 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, Indiana. Visitation will be May 6, 2023 from 9 a.m. until service time. A burial will follow at Hazleton Community Cemetery with Casey Deffendall officiating.
