Wilma Jean Riley, 94, passed away February 3, 2024 at Premier Health Care in New Harmony, IN. She was born July 10, 1929 in Princeton, IN to the late Lester Hill and Alda (White) Hill. Wilma graduated from Princeton High School in 1948. Shortly after high school she married the love of her life, Joseph A. Riley. Wilma enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, working the garden, admiring her flowers, or taking her little dog for a walk. She liked to watch IU Basketball, read Danielle Steel novels, and making needlework projects to give away as gifts. Wilma also volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital. She was loved by many and will deeply be missed.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph A. Riley; son, Larry Riley; and sisters, Wanda Mason and Billie June McWilliams.
She is survived by her daughter, Joetta (Jerry) Campbell; daughter-in-law, Ellen Riley; grandchildren, Sara (Cody) Morgan, Kaila (Mark) Neal, Jill (Kyle) Deutsch, and Mitchell (Amy) Ellis; great grandchildren, Cullen, Brooks, Grayson, Riley, Cade, Katelyn, Claire, Carson, and Cole; and her little dog, Casey.
