Wilma Hope Shrock, 88, of Marion, Illinois, formerly of Princeton, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at Liberty Village of Marion. She was born December 30, 1931 to John Stinson and Myrtle (Doughty) Mason in Oakland City. She worked for Hansen Manufacturing Corporation for a few years and enjoyed being outdoors. She was known in her family for being the caregiver and was often seen volunteering her time keeping the grounds clean at Lafayette Park. She was a patient woman who loved her family deeply and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed.
Wilma is survived by her children, Melinda Beyke (Mark), Lori McCandless (Brett), and Roy Joseph Shrock (Sandy), grandchildren, Amber Beyke (Josh), April McCandless, Patrick McCandless, Abi Cowser Barnett (Cheryl), Sam McCandless (Lisa), Katie Storm (Keith), Joey Beyke, Maddie Ornelas (Dan), Andy Beyke, Noah Beyke, Toby Beyke, and Ruby Rose Shrock; and great-grandchildren, Philla Cowser, Rowan Beyke, Ember Storm, Evelyn Yates, and Sebastian Storm.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Rufus Mason; husband, Raymond Shrock; daughter, Marie Shrock; sisters, Kathleen Stinson, Francis Redman, Mary Alley, Margie Rowe, and Betty McGarrah; brother, Pete Stinson; half-brothers, Clyde Stinson and Dauby Stinson; and half-sister, Delores Stinson.
No services will be held at this time.
