Oh, Bob, I am so sorry to learn of your passing. Your kindness to me when I was first hired by the railroad has always been truly appreciated. I wish I could express my thoughts in person but a family-event has called me out of the state. My sincerest condolences to your family as I know your kindness and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

We are devastated by this tragic loss. Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him and especially by the PHS Class of '61. Our monthly lunches at Union won't ever be the same without the fun and humor he provided. Rest in peace, Bob. We will miss your smile.

Bob and I have been friends since early elementary school at Franklin. His unique sense of humor was very much appreciated by all who knew him. In sixth grade we were horsing around and I shot Bob with a rubber band. Our teacher saw me and brought me to the front of the room and gave me a severe beating with a wooden paddle. I still feel that Bob should have shared that beating with me. Rest in peace, my friend. You will not be forgotten.
