Donna was a wonderful giving lady. I was one that in my childhood years spent many a summer hours at her pool as she opened it to us and allowed us to swim. This is where I truthfully got to know her...........such a caring soul. Anytime that she would see me out, she would speak to me...........I miss seeing her. Donna meant a whole lot to many people and we all miss her dearly.

Donna was a very special person - so kind and caring to everyone. She always was glad to see me, ready to give me a hug. She will be missed in Oakland City and by her many friends. Donna seemed to know everyone, and she made them feel special. She was truly a gift from God.

I'm so glad I was able to see Donna a few weeks ago, at Pat McCandless' visitation; we had a nice talk. I can't believe she is gone.......I have so many fond memories of her, working for my parents at Johnson's.....she was like family. Rest in peace, Donna. I love you.

Donna was such a kind, caring, special lady. Years ago she was my mentor when I worked at Johnson's Restaurant, and we had a special friendship. The community will certainly miss her goodness, and she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, dear friend.
