Charles R. Downs, Jr, 77, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on December 31, 1938 in Princeton, Indiana. He retired, after 35 years, from Whirlpool in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Robb) Downs; 2 daughters, Ginny Downs and Bobbi Downs both of Princeton; his granddaughter, Amy (Brian) Drogich; and a sister, Barbara Downs of Princeton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Downs and Genevieve (Loveless) Downs Hutchinson; and an infant son, Charles R. Downs III. There will be no services.
